another Tuesday another deleted scene...

If you haven't noticed yet, for the past few weeks we have been putting up new clips every Tuesday, we will continue to do this up until the release. Today you'll see a deleted scene of David explaining how he's going to re-enforce the pulley system for the mobile hanging inside the silo. Below are some pictures of the pulley and mobile followed by the video..

(world peace) rough mix 1..

Today we have a unmastered rough mix of (world peace) off of the upcoming slio project record for your listening pleasure. We are very happy with the mix so far and would love to hear your feedback good or bad.

We'll also post the lyrics to the song below,

Enjoy

World Peace

Guns kill people like McDonald's made us fat
In an archless world you'd be obese and you'd kill me for saying that
But you would not need a weapon; just the hands of peaceful men
To slit my throat with documents and stab me with a pen...and then

Recycle my corpse, Senator; let my body not pollute
My flesh is biodegradable; my bones can be reused
To build a better planet so organic, safe, and green
It's a sound reform, it's fueled by corn, soylent as it may be

...kazoo....kazoo...da da da....(etc)

My mind's been unacceptable; won't someone wash my brain
Give me welfare for my wellness and soma for my pain
And help me Dr. Huxley; Mr. Orwell stole my faith
He said you'd help me understand and you'd tell me what to say
But I can't say anything they don't already know
Their decisions have been made; the seeds have all been sown
And what will grow so quickly from the soil of this disease
Is the kind of love and harmony that will drive you to your knees

Yes, and you'd best bow humbly; your submission is required
Or the mighty kings of democracy will throw you in the fire
da da's etc...

But it's not bad, Comrade; the healthcare shall be free
Prescribe yourself some tolerance as the flames consume your feet......world peace

Thanks,

Joel and David

Back in Wisconsin..

I'm back in Wisconsin for a short time working with Mr. Stükenberg on the film/record and we're very pleased to tell you that it's sounding and looking grand. We are working hard to get a release date set and will let you know as soon as we do..

David has been spending many sleepless nights working on the record and I had my first chance to hear the rough mixes today and was very very excited with what I heard.. He will be putting some samples up very soon.
